How did Sakura Science Plan play a role in your study / research in Japan?

Before becoming a candidate of Sakura Science Plan, I thought a lot about where I will come to pursue my studying. My major is environment. At the period, I had been interested in studying on sustainable transport and spatial development because there are many relative problems in Ho Chi Minh where I live. Fortunately, I was chosen to take part in the program and gained more useful knowledge. There are not only your development in science and technology but also effects of people and your culture. Especially, I was impressed with your transport system which is very modern, effective and environmentally friendly. This again helps me specify my study's topic. Up to now, I have known I have right choice.

Please describe your comments freely related to your life in Japan.

I have lived in Japan for 5 months. There are many new things in both studying and daily life. Professors and senpais are very kind to help me overcome difficulties in studying. They inspire me through the way they helped me. In daily life, it cannot be denied that Japan government has created safe, convenient and comfort society for people to live in which I am benefiting, too. The only thing making me worry is language. I do not know Japanese while almost all procedures, documents, services…are in Japanese. However, thanks to tutors, friends and staff in the university, everything is becoming better day by day. Also, I am trying to learn Japanese and feel wonderful when I can make simple conversation with local residents.

You can learn many things in a new place. In Sakura Science Plan, I believe that you will have a lot of great experiences.
