"We are One ! Sakura Science Club"is a website for mutual exchange among those who participated in the Sakura Science Program (Japan-Asia Youth Exchange Program in Science) including peers from your country or friends from other parts of the world, our program organizers and supporters.

Sakura Mentor

Alumni Activities

With Dr. Tran Dan Xuan (Associate Professor at Hiroshima University) and Dr. Le Van Lich (Lecturer at Hanoi University of Science and Technology) as keynote speakers, the 2nd SSC in Vietnam Alumni Meeting “Sharing Our Experiences Studying and Working Abroad” was held online on September 25, 2021. Co-hosted by Sakura Science Club Vietnam (SSCV) and the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST), the event also welcomed long-time members Dr. Nguyen Chi Long and Ms. Ha Hoang who shared their experiences on how the program influenced their lives. H.E. Mr. Takeo Yamada (Ambassador of Japan to the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam) and H.E. Mr. Vu Hong Nam (Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam to Japan) both mentioned how the program will strengthen Vietnam-Japan ties.Ms. Vu Minh Hanh from JASSO Vietnam Office provided insightful information on studying in Japan.
