How did Sakura Science Plan play a role in your study / research in Japan?
Participating in the Sakura Science Plan has played a decisive factor in my study abroad in Japan. Because I have participated in this activity, I can learn more about Japanese culture and experience the education of the university. And finally the program let me sprout my thoughts on studying in Japan. At the same time, the teachers I met in Japan because I participated in the program, provided me with a lot of information and help. The friends I met here, after I arrived in Japan, also gave me a lot of help in life. I am very fortunate to have participated in this program and to have the opportunity to study at University of Miyazaki.
Please describe your comments freely related to your life in Japan.
In fact, many Chinese friends of mine have the desire to study abroad, but they are hesitant because of the following two factors:
1)There is no way to get to know Japanese professors and mentors, and it is difficult to get a teacher's recommendation.
So it would be great if there are opportunities for students and teachers to get to know each other.
2)High tuition and living expenses. Japanese prices are more expensive than in China.
If we can get more scholarship support, it will reduce the burden of living expenses, and I also see that University of Miyazaki is indeed launching a scholarship.
In addintion, when I first came to Japan, my biggest concern was my Japanese ability, so I chatted with Japanese friends as much as possible, but because Japanese is used in the course of class, there are still many things that are difficult to understand. They require me to spend more time to think about it. However, this will improve my Japanese language skills. Maybe this is also likely to be a factor that can plague someone to study in Japan (if they are not doing English diploma courses).
Please describe your message to people who are going to participate in this program.
Please don't hesitate to participate in the Sakura Science Plan. This will be a very good opportunity for you to open a window to understand Japan, even change your future.
