How did Sakura Science Plan play a role in your study / research in Japan?
Thanks to the Sakura Science Plan (SSP), I had an opportunity to study verified computing methods and cooperate with Prof. Liu. During these rewarding days, I have been very interested in interval computing and the estimate of interpolation constants. After I finished the SSP visit, I kept touch with Prof. Liu and began the research about verified computing under his guidance. One year later, I visited Niigata University to perform the cooperated research. I discussed with Prof. Liu about the guaranteed lower bound of Steklov eigenvalues and how to obtain more accurate eigenvalue bounds using Lehmann-Golerisch method. The research with Prof. Liu is the best fruitful experience to me during my Ph.D. study.
Please describe your comments freely related to your life in Japan.
The stay in Japan was very productive. One of the biggest harvest is to experience the happiness of discussing math problems. Under the guidance of Prof. Liu. I was always full of energy to do our research. In the weekend, we drove to beautiful seaside and enjoyed delicious food. The Sakura Science Plan (SSP) gave me a direct chance to experience Japanese culture. I learned a lot from the way how people work and live in Japan. This will always be a precious fortune to me.
