How did Sakura Science Plan play a role in your study / research in Japan?

Sakura Sciece Plan (SSP) helps me to get to know the research area and the suitable laboratory for my research attachment. Apart from that, the laboratory work that was conducted during SSP gave us a lot of new knowledge and information. We managed to share our knowledge with the students at the University of Tsukuba. Instead of learning new things from them, we also had a discussion where we discussed about our research and there was also information exchanges between us and students from University of Tsukuba.

Please describe your comments freely related to your life in Japan.

I feel really glad that my Japanese supervisor and Japanese friends were really nice to me. They would always be there for me when I need something, especially regarding the laboratory work. In the beginning of my research life, I had difficulties in getting used to the laboratory equipment. Luckily however, everyone in my laboratory tried to help me as much as they can. I feel really thankful to them. Also, a big thanks to the scholarship that was given to me. I think the scholarship really helps us to study and live in Japan. Thank you so much.

Sakura Science Plan is a good platform for international students to get exposed to Japanese cultures and lifestyles. It will also help students to get familiar with the university enviroment and campus lifestyle before we continue our study at University of Tsukuba or other Japanese universities.
