How did Sakura Science Plan play a role in your study / research in Japan?
Sakura Science Plan (SSP) was important. Since I joined Sakura Science, I got more interested in studying coastal engineering. I was taking Coastal Engineering field as my final task. During the exchange program I was aware that this field was interesting for me and I wanted to explore more and more about this field. My gratitude goes to Prof. Keisuke Murakami. Since I was invited to explore more about it through Miyazaki Prefecture's Technical Training Aid Program, I was able to make the best out of this opportunity.

Since Sakura Science Plan (SSP) was my first opportunity to visit Japan, I was amazed by its culture and the people, especially in Miyazaki. It was the greatest experience I ever had. I could feel the warm ambience of Japan. I was totally lucky to meet Prof. Murakami. He is a very nice professor and is patient to teach me everything until I clearly understood. During the training, I was also able to build some friendship with Japanese people and "Minna wa yasashi desu!!" Last but not least, I am wishing to pursue my next education in Japan if there is any opportunity. Thank you.

To everyone who got the opportunity, I congratulate you to join Sakura Science Club (SSC)! It was a very interesting experience . I was totally inspired and became aware of environmental issues which need to be dealt by ourselves, the young generation. Wishing that you guys will enjoy this experience, and that you will become more interested to make our world better through science!
