How did Sakura Science Plan play a role in your study / research in Japan?
This plan played a very significant role in my future research. I have developed collaborative ties with Professor Nakahiro Yasuda and Yoshinobu Izumi, who are professors of the Research Institute of Nuclear Engineering (RINE) at Fukui University. Now one of my Ph.D student is studying at RINE, Fukui University. Another Ph.D student came here as a researcher, too.
Please describe your comments freely related to your life in Japan.
I like Japanese life, culture, tradition and customs. I have made good friends at Fukui University. Also, I was able to build good relations with professors like, Satoru Tanaka, a great lecturer at Japan Atomic Energy Agency's Nuclear Human Resources Development Center (NuHRDeC) and inspirational people at JAEA. I had participated in the Nuclear Plant Safety Course.
Please describe your message to people who are going to participate in this program.
Thanks to Sakura Science Plan, my colleagues, my students and I have very memorable impressions about Japanese lifestyle. Every time when I came to Japan, I felt happiness and I was seeking reasons to come to Japan again. If possible, I would like to come back to Japan again as a supervisor to students participating in this program.
