How did Sakura Science Plan play a role in your study / research in Japan?
Before I took part in Sakura Science, I had never been out of Vietnam, or to any other country. Thanks to the program, I finally had the chance to go to Japan. Throughout this program, I learned how we get through difficulties when we face trouble. We also learned the way how Japanese people take care of others.
Please describe your comments freely related to your life in Japan.
I think the 3 weeks that my friends and I spent together at KIT was one of my most wonderful times ever. Everyday we were learning together, doing exercies together, cooking together, and living together. 3 weeks is not a long time but for us, it was very meaningful because we enjoyed every single day, like today is the last day we could stay in Japan. Thanks to the trip, I can strengthen my friendship, experience a lot of Japan's culture. The most important thing is I could know what internship in Japan is like. This was my first internship in Japan.
Please describe your message to people who are going to participate in this program.
When you use Japanese to communicate, it's OK if you don't know much about grammar, or how bad your Japanese speaking skills. It doesn't matter. The important thing is that you will be brave to speak with your friends and other people. What you can't say in Japanese, feel free to use English or even worse if you don't know English, use body language. I'm sure that your friends won't laugh at you. As long as you dare to talk to other people, your speaking skill will improve little by little.
