How did Sakura Science Plan play a role in your study / research in Japan?

Thanks to the SSC, I had a very good opportunity to visit Japan. It helped me to know Japan very well. During the Sakura Science project, I had visited the National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation and the National Museum of Nature and Science. Both of the museums broadened my horizon and had a great impression on me. I had seen the roots of Japanese from ancient times to modern times and the High-tech facilities that had been made in Japan. All of them had a great impression on me. Later, I visited the Iwate University during the open campus, Many researchers had shown me their latest work which aroused my great interest. After that, I also had few factory tours in Tohoku, Japan. The Citizen Tohoku Co. Ltd and the Aisin Tohoku showed me how they protect the environment from polluted water, solid waste. It reminded me about protecting environment in China is in the face. All in all, this was a very good experience for me, I had made up my mind to study in Japan in the future.

Please describe your comments freely related to your life in Japan.

Life was quite different from China, there so many tips to live in Japan comfortably. I had to drop the garbage in special days as they throw one kind of litter in one day. The environment is beautiful as we know. Everyone here had a good sense of environment protection. The cars and persons on foot should be on the left. At the beginning, I always thought there were no drivers in cars which freaked me out. The professors and students here is so kind and polite, it is very easy to experience life with them.

Please describe your message to people who are going to participate in this program.

At first, I have no idea what this project is. My professor told me it was an opportunity to learn about Japan. I listened to my professor and got everything ready. It was very exciting as this was my first time to go abroad. The processors, students and staffs made a deep impression on me. The advanced technology also inspired me to study in Japan. You deserve to experience a different life at a young age.
