How did Sakura Science Plan play a role in your study / research in Japan?

I am so thankful to have received opportunity to know better about lightning and VLF on AVON Winter School in 2015 provided by Sakura. It was my first experience in Japan and it helped me to know a little bit about study and research in Japan better. When last year I got another good opportunity to visit Japan, I had no hesitation to take it. I really appreciate this helpful contribution towards my future study and research.

Please describe your comments freely related to your life in Japan.

I enjoyed my visit very much. There were challenges, I was being a minority for the first time ever and there were cultural norms I had to adapt to, though everyone from Japan was exceptionally respectfully understanding and welcoming.

Studying in Japan adds another level to your priceless experience, enabling you to learn in a new way. If you have a chance, just go for it. You'll never regret it.
