How did Sakura Science Plan play a role in your study / research in Japan?
It was my first time fly to another country. I was just coming to the last few months of my high school days at that time. Needless to say, I got pretty excited when I heard I can go to Japan with this Sakura Science Plan. I can experience the Japanese campus life earlier than any of my classmates, meet professors, and lay a first stone of my life in Japan. I was just studying hiragana at that time and when I went to japan, I couldn't even order a meal because I don't know how to pronunce the Japanese Kanji on the menu. I was quite shocked after this, so I went back to my university in China, and worked way more harder on Japanese language. Now I can almost take care of every thing on my own. So thank you for having me on the Plan! It really helped me a lot.
Please describe your comments freely related to your life in Japan.
After a long term of preperation, I was offically enrolled at OECU as a student. In the first month I came to Japan, I was like having nothing but the minimum things I needed to survive. And because I was in west Japan, the professor I met was speaking with a western Japanese accent. After about 2 months of living here, I was finally getting used to everything, but a little homesick. The food is fine here but I still miss the food back home in my country. Academically, I made good progress in Accounting and also joined a computer programing seminar. I will keep on working like this and maybe apply for a scholarship in my senior year.

"If you are doing something that everyone else is doing, you are doing it wrong." This is a quote from my favorite YouTuber Casey Neistat. Yes, don't be anyone, but just be your own self. The life for you, the performance is only a half decade so why waste your best time by role-playing? "In this world no one knows anything." This is another quote from Casey Neistat. So don't be afraid to do something alone. Maybe that is the way to success. Don't just be around friends from your country. Go out there to meet new people, and get into a new life. Find what you really want do and be the best in it.
