How did Sakura Science Plan play a role in your study / research in Japan?

Sakura Science Plan played a big part for my research in Japan. It included a tour of the campus and the lab, and time to discuss with professors. Because of this, I could understand university life in Japan better. Hokkaido was very impressive. The campus was clean and the laboratory is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. This made we want to study at Hokkaido University. Moreover, when we went to tour the city and other companies, I could see myself looking forward to my life in Japan. The positive atomosphere was another motivation for me to come and study in Japan.

I was able to receive the CSC Scholarship which granted me 150,000 yen a month. My tuition was waived. There are a variety of scholarships. Because Sakura Science Plan gave the opportunity to visit Japanese universities, I believe that it is beneficial for someone who is looking for scholarship. This experience led me to apply for scholarship.

You can lear a lot of things fromt this program. It is the greatest chance to really see and learn about Japan. You will see many things that you are not used to, so you can learn many things. Any kind of experience will be a stimulation to your new life in Japan.
