SAAI Secures Support from Renowned Organizations for Coming Events

To prepare for the First Sakura Science Alumni SDGs Workshop (29th and 30th July), the Second Sakura Science Alumni SDGs Workshop (5th and 6th August) and the Sakura Science Technology, and Innovation Award 2023 (SSTIA2023) of 1st October, SAAI (Sakura Science Alumni Indonesia), has tirelessly been traveling to and fro to build partnership with relevant organizations contributing to SDGs and well-being of our society. Below are photos and accounts we received from SAAI regarding their “Roadshow” visits to (I) BRIN-Badan Riset dan Inovasi Nasional (National Research and Innovation Agency), (II) JICA-Japan International Cooperation Agency, and (III) the ASEAN Secretariat.

(I) SAAI’s Roadshow Visit to the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN)

Mr. Edy Giri Rachman Putra as Deputy for Human Resources in Science and Technology at the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) gave welcoming and positive comments. It was such a lively session. Alongside other SAAI coordinators, Mr. Andi Syamsul also partook in the fruitful discussion with representatives of the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN). Thus, the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) agreed to support SAAI’s future projects and is willing to help its publicity and judges.

(II) SAAI’s Roadshow Visit to Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA)

Mr. Ryosuke Onizuka gave warm and welcoming comments. It was such a thought-provoking session. The discussion lasted for 30 minutes on SAAI’s presentation and question and answer session with Mr. Ryosuke Onizuka. In essence, Mr. Ryosuke Onizuka stated that JICA would support to becoming an institutional partner with SAAI and permitted to use the JICA logo in terms of publications, including its use in e-certificates.

(III) SAAI’s Roadshow Visit to the ASEAN Secretariat

Dr. Zurina Moktar (Head of Science and Technology Division at the ASEAN Secretariat) gave positive encouraging comments. It was such a thriving session. Through the lively discussion, Dr. Zurina Moktar stated that the ASEAN Secretariat supports to becoming SAAI’s institutional partner in conducting events. SAAI is permitted to use the ASEAN Secretariat logo in terms of publications, including its use in e-certificate. In addition, SSTIA 2023 winners may have access to become an observer in one of ASEAN 2023 related meetings.
