How did Sakura Science Plan play a role in your study / research in Japan?

Sakura Science Plan (SSP) gave me an amazing chance to experience the study environment, researching facilities in Japan as well as the unique culture here. Having this chance to visit Japan and meet many experienced professors in my field has shaped my desire in pursuing a higher degree in Japan. It had broadened my mind in the research field I want to work in the future, which is why after the program I have come back to Japan to pursue Master degree in the filed of Environmental Engineering.

Living in and studying in japan has been great so far. Even though it's a bit expensive, the scholarship is helpful. Besides studying and researching, there are many university progams for foreigner students to experience Japanese culture.
