How did Sakura Science Plan play a role in your study / research in Japan?
Activities in Sakura Science Plan (SSP) introduced me the life of Japan. I participated in the Sumer School on GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) at Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology (TUMSAT). It not only introduced the knowledge of GNSS but also showed me how a great research environment Japan can offer. During the summer school, I saw many cutting edge research about localization and how they were applied in real world applications. Since then, I felt Japan is a good place to do research and to live. Therefore, one year after the summer school, I applied to Tohoku University as an exchange student.
Please describe your comments freely related to your life in Japan.
Japan is a friendly country. Traffic is convient. Professors I met in Japan are friendly and willing to discuss with me. They always guided me in an inspiring way and provide me with great laboratory environments for digging into my interests. Thanks to JASSO (Japan Student Services Organization) and JST (Japan Science and Technonogy Agency) for offering me the scholarship on GNSS summer school and the exchange program. Without their support, I could not have put all of my effort into my study in Japan.

If you are considering to study abroad, or to work in a global environment, Japan is one of the best places. If you have a chance to join the exchange program, don't be hesitate to join it. You will meet people from different countries. You will experience different culture from others and also share yours with them. The journey in Japan will be unforgetable in your life.
