How did Sakura Science Plan play a role in your study / research in Japan?

Sakura Science program gave me chances to learn about Japanese culture and lifestyles as well as how much of science Japan has developed. Also, I had a chance to meet to discuss my research results with professors. These experiences helped me to choose this laboratory for research as postdoc and to adjust to my present life in Japan.

Please describe your comments freely related to your life in Japan.

Fortunately, I got an opportunity to study in Japan as JSPS postdoctoral fellow. Even though I cannot speak Japanese well, I had no problem staying in here because the laboratory members are kind and helpful. Specially, the professors are also very nice and really helping me a lot. So I am able to enjoy many other things in Japan, such as food, lifestyle and sightseeing.

It is no doubt that the Sakura Science program is a good chance to experience Japanese culture and to make new contacts or relationships. If you get the chance, try to join! And please enjoy your stay.
