How did Sakura Science Plan play a role in your study / research in Japan?
I was able to establish good connection with many students, researchers and professors. Also I was able to share and exchange knowledge related to different research fields. Besides, I was given opportunity to attend meaningful lectures which enhanced my knowledge on biomass utilization and catalyst development. In addition, I joined plant and research institute visits which gave me an insight of the real working industries.
Please describe your comments freely related to your life in Japan.
Firstly, I was benefited abundantly through my exchange here in Japan. In Kumamoto University, there are a lot of chances to attend lectures held by famous professors from different countries. I was able to learn more on their research topics besides gaining some extra information for my own research. Other than that, I was assigned under a helpful and knowledgeable professor during my time here. He is very generous in sharing his knowledge. He would always help me with the problems I faced in my research. In laboratory, I have met with new friends from different nationalities. We often share our problems and discuss over them together. The japanese students were also very warm welcoming hence I have no problem in adapting to their culture. Lastly, with the scholarship I was provided, I was able to live an adequate life here in Japan. I was glad to be given the chance for exchange in Japan.

Hence, I would like to advice anyone who is interested to grab the opportunitiy and join this exchange.
