After attending the SSP and MSST-2019 (Materials Science and Surface Technology 2019), I saw here in Japan, that Professors were so kind and helpful to students. I was so impressed by Japanese culture and manners. So, I started speaking Japanese words using google translator, like KONNICHIWA, ARIGATOU, SUMIMASEN etc. This kind of gesture appealed to the Kanto Gakuin University professors. So, in January 2020, I got a proposal for PhD, as my Masters was just completed. Also, Kanto Gakuin University introduced me to a private scholarship by the ‘KGU MATERIALS AND SURFACE ENGINEERING RESEARCH INSTITUTE’. In that case, I need to pay the school fees regularly, but along with that, I can apply for the above scholarship every year.
If the previous academic performance and overall behaviour is good, I think one can pass the screening test. If screening test is passed, current academic year tuition fees are refunded as the scholarship amount. Laboratory charges are not refunded. So, I agreed to continue with my PhD course at Kanto Gakuin University.
