Hello (Konichiwa),
This is Antim Nehra from India. I'm the Alumni of Prerana Batch-04 under MoE India and School Captain of Indus, Pillu Khera.
In Oct 2024,through SAKURA SCIENCE PROGRAM (SSP), I had the privilege to stay in Tokyo, Japan, for few days and learn about Japan's cutting-edge science and technology and its rich culture and heritage.
Those days were full of learning and fun and I'm very grateful for the international friends I made there who are in touch with me now. We gained a lot from the professors and technology we saw. We came to know that SAKURA enveloped me in the true essence of a nation and what set countries like Japan apart in terms of success. The Japanese youth with unwavering dedication, discipline and thirst for knowledge had left an incredible impression on me. It evokes the sense of responsibility towards a nation's progress and unhealing commitment to excellence. As an Indian delegate I couldn't help but wonder what lessons my own country could learn. I embarked into this program and it has taught me the importance of unity and perseverance for excellence, and for a bit of betterment of INDIA and the whole world.
Last but not least, we Indian delegates reflected on our spirit of वसुधैव कुटुम्बकम् “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” (The World Is One Family) among students from 6 different countries. My heartily thanks to Ministry of Education, Government of India and JST for giving me the wonderful opportunity to be the part of such a wonderful family of SAKURA. May this program bloom out just like the beautiful flower SAKURA.
