I hope you all are safe and well there in Japan. I am Indu Prabha from New Delhi, India. I visited JAPAN in November 2016 through Sakura Science Plan. The trip to Japan has been the most memorable experience for me in my entire life. It was a youth exchange program in science launched by JST to promote innovation in Asia and to encourage us towards science and technology. Students from all over the world gathered to attend this program. I resided in APA Hotel with my batch B1. After the orientation program in the hotel we left for Nippon Steel & Sumitomo Metal Corporation which is Japan's leading steel maker. We went to Akihabara, a district in central Tokyo famous for its electronics shops. We also visited KEK, a research institution promoting research in physics. Visiting Meikei High School in Tsukuba City, Ibaraki was the most wonderful experience. We exchanged our ideas, experiences and cultures. The aeroplane-making competition was really fabulous. Performing hands on experiment with Nobel laureate Dr. Shirakawa was extremely a big opportunity. We visited National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation where we met Dr. Mamoru Mohri. We also met ASIMO, world's most advanced humanoid robot. He sang a beautiful song for all of us. Then, we went to Sony Explora Science where we enjoyed 3-D movies, fun games, music and film. So, this 7-day program ended with a closing ceremony and a farewell party. These days brought a drastic change in my life which I would miss a lot.
