First of all, I’d like to express my heartfelt thanks to the Sakura Science Exchange Program. Back in April 2018, I was incredibly honored and grateful to be selected for this life-changing opportunity. Not only did I return home with unforgettable memories, but the experience also sparked a passion that continues to guide my academic and personal journey today.

Over seven amazing days in Hyogo and Tokyo, I had the chance to visit inspiring places like RIKEN, Spring-8(Synchrotron Radiation Facility), the Disaster Reduction and Human Renovation Institution, Kobe University, Tokyo Gakugei University Senior High School, Miraikan, and Tokyo Gas Co., Ltd. I also got to explore iconic sites like Himeji Castle, Odaiba, and Asakusa—places I had only seen in photos before.

What impressed me most were Japan’s advanced technologies and the kindness of its people. From robots and supercomputers to the Shinkansen, everything felt like stepping into the future. But what stayed with me even more were the warm smiles and genuine friendliness of the students and professors we met. I’ll always remember the cultural exchange at Tokyo Gakugei University Senior High School—it was eye-opening and heart-warming.

After coming back to Thailand, I felt more motivated than ever to continue in science. That inspiration led me to pursue a Master’s degree in Computer Science and Information Technology at the Faculty of Science, Chulalongkorn University.

Although I haven’t had the chance to return to Japan yet, I carry the spirit of SSP with me wherever I go. I truly hope I can return one day—not just to revisit the country I fell in love with, but to reconnect with fellow alumni and share knowledge, culture, and dreams for the future.

SSP taught me that discipline, creativity, and connection can truly change the world. I hope this wonderful program continues to inspire many more young people—just like it inspired me.
