a) Your current interests and future plans after SSP
I was fortunate enough to be introduced to the SSP program in 2019. After completing my master's degree in Taiwan in 2023, my passion for scientific research has remained strong during my two-plus years of work. My experience with SSP also deepened my appreciation for the charm and culture of Japan, which motivated me to study the language. Looking ahead, I aspire to find opportunities to establish my career in Japan, and also wish to pursue my doctoral degree.

b) Anything about recent alumni events/activities in your country or region
In November 2025, I collaborated with several like-minded partners to organize the TSSCA event with JST. At this gathering, I saw many young individuals actively pursuing their dreams of studying abroad, which in turn helped me refocus and rediscover my own goals.

c) How the SSP program impacted/changed you
The SSP program helped me understand the study abroad system and even allowed me to experience what it's like to conduct scientific research in Japan. It made me realize how vast the world is, and that if my abilities permit, I can achieve my goals and make a name for myself in different countries.
