SSP has been a great experience for me early on, during my high school year to learn about the greater world, science and how scientific research really worked. The fact that I am able to talk to professors from top universities in Japan really helped. Science is no longer a "do it as the textbook said" thing. It became "we kind of don't know…we could try and find out".

Never could have that chance without SSP. Also, can see how high schools work in Japan. Now I am also in the scientific field (more engineering than fundamental science), but still, this experience is more than valuable.
