I am currently working in the main campus of Tamil Nadu Agricultural University. My major research focus is on Rice Breeding. I have released 16 rice varieties for the benefit of Indian farmers. I am also guiding masters and Ph.D. scholars on various research problems including submergence tolerance, anaerobic germination potential, drought tolerance, blast and BLB resistance, Bio fortification etc. About 30 publications were made from 2014 to till date. I am also handling breeding courses for undergraduate and postgraduate students.
