Namaste and Konichiwa!
I’m Fu Lhamu Sherpa from the mystique Himalayan region of Nepal. For me, the journey to the land of the rising sun was more than just an academic exchange; it was an opportunity to bridge cultures, ideas, and philosophies. Rooted in my deep appreciation for music, arts, and Mahayana Buddhism, I see this experience as a way to integrate scientific knowledge with a holistic worldview─one that nurtures both technological progress and a deep respect for nature and all living beings.

Sakura Science Program(SSP)not only strengthens international scientific cooperation but also inspires a new generation of thinkers and change makers. By engaging with Japanese innovation, I gained a lot of insight that can be applied back home, whether in environmental , sustainability or ethical advancements in science. Given my lifelong devotion to serving the planet and its creatures, I see this as an opportunity to align modern science with the wisdom of nature and compassion.

Through the program’s alumni network Sakura Science Club (SSC), I aim to expand my perspective which already is, connect with like-minded people and find ways to contribute meaningfully to both scientific progress and well-being of our world.
