Hi! I’m Faye, pronounced as “Fey”. I’m a Business Administration student from the Technological Institute of the Philippines. I participated in the Sakura Science Program (SSP) 2024 at the J.F. Oberlin University.

The program was truly a remarkable experience for me. As a business student, the lectures about entrepreneurship, global expansion of MNCs, their business strategies, and challenges in a global scale were very timely and relevant. It broadened my horizon regarding international business and trade. But, it isn’t just about these learnings. I also made friends with people from other countries and got to experience what life is like in one of the most historical and beautiful countries—for which I’ll forever be grateful.

Most importantly, this program left me with a sense of new purpose and possibility in this ever-changing world. I’m now ready to apply what I have learned from this program and contribute to the development of my nation and its neighbors.
