My name is Bawlchhim Zorinzuali. I am currently studying in Grade 12. I attended the SSP in the month of June 2025. I plan on studying Law for my future endeavours in hopes of becoming a good judge. Unfortunately, I have been unable to attend the Alumni programs because of my schedule, but I plan on attending them as soon as my exams finish!!

The SSP was honestly unforgettable for me. I got to learn so much- not only about Science but also about Japanese culture. As a kid, I always wanted to visit Japan because of my love for anime and this program made that dream come true. It was such an amazing experience─ getting to see the cleanliness of the city, the work ethic of the people, the delicious food etc.

Our team got to visit JAXA and NIMS where we got to see things such as a quantum computer─ it was mind-blowing. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. Our time at Miraikan and the JST headquarters will also be forever memorable. I even got the opportunity to give a speech at the India-Japan anniversary event at Miraikan where we also got to interact with some alumni! I am forever fortunate to have been chosen for the SSP.

Japan is one of those countries that you must see at least once. It felt out of this world! Not only did I learn bits and pieces of the Japanese language. I got to interact with Japanese people which helped me practice and honestly, I can almost hold basic conversations in Japanese now. It is truly a beautiful language.

The program helped me meet and interact with students from all over the world!─Ukraine, Malaysia, Taiwan, and Japan. I still keep in touch with my friends to this day! The mementos and keepsakes we got were also great. If I could, I would do it all over again. After my career stabilizes, I definitely plan on returning to 'Nihon'. I would love to bring my parents and show them how beautiful of a country Japan is. I would just like to thank all the organisers for giving us this wonderful opportunity to take part in something so special. It was truly a once in a lifetime experience.
