Experiencing the Corporate Spirit of Shimadzu Corporation at the Foundation Memorial Museum
On the afternoon of Friday, September 13, 55 outstanding university students selected from India's top universities visited the Shimadzu Corporation Foundation Memorial Museum (Nakagyo Ward, Kyoto City). The building is located in Nijo, Kiyamachi, where the founder and second-generation Shimazu Genzo lived and actually developed products.
The university students looked in deep intrigue at each of the valuable materials exhibited throughout the museum, including the Diana (X-ray generator), the Wimshurst machine, and a paper-made anatomical model and others, and listened to the explanations with serious expressions. ✨
In addition to the information obtained at the "Japan University and Corporation Career Session" held the day before yesterday (9/11), it seems that the students were able to sense the corporate spirit of Shimadzu Corporation, which has been passed down from the time of its founding to the present day. That is "contributing to society through science and technology!"
