Courtesy Call on the Peruvian Embassy in Japan

 On the afternoon of Tuesday, November 12, a total of eight people including six high school students from Peru and two supervisors, visited the Peruvian Embassy in Japan (Shibuya ward, Tokyo) to make a courtesy call on Ambassador Roberto Seminario.

 Ambassador Roberto discussed the challenges Peruvians faced when coming to Japan for work and study after World War II and how they overcame them. He also emphasized to the high school students the importance of cultural cooperation with Japan and the value of young people pursuing education at universities and research institutions.

 High school students expressed their gratitude for the valuable experience they have had with the Sakura Science Program, and for making this visit to the Embassy a very meaningful learning experience.
