All around the world, we are deeply saddened by the outbreak of the devastating COVID-19 pandemic and everyone are trying hard to protect their family and loved ones.

The Mongolian government is working well to manage this hard situation with minimal loss of finances and health among the population.

Since February 15, 2020, Mongolia followed the international standards, in carrying out activities in accordance with the Level 1 quarantine regime.

If I get sick, you get sick. If we get sick then it will be the reason for all Mongolians to get sick. Therefore, everyone are encouraged to maintain good personal hygiene, wash and sanitize their hands regularly, wear masks regularly, open the window to let in fresh air even when it is cold, clean and sanitize their homes, and not to go outside unless necessary. Professional organization specialists are cleaning up the streets and town squares to reduce the risk, and the Ministry of Health send out warning messages and advice twice a day to the public on how to boost their immunity and to prevent infection during the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak.

Everybody in the street are wearing face mask

On the other hand, communicable disease specialists have work to develop a potential risk asssessment plan to prevent the spread of COVID-19 pandemic in the Chingeltei district of Ulaanbaatar on May 8, 2020 and have been working to improve on its implementation.

Professional organization are sterilizing the streets

The Mongolian government ordered schools, daycare, and local businesses to shut down, and provided students with an opportunity to study online and employees can work online from home. It was a new experience for us and a chance to spend more time with our family. In addition, we are receiving many important online services from the government and banking institutions.

However, I believe Mongolians will be able to overcome the COVID-19 pandemic without spreading the infection domestically and live in peace as before.

Trains at the station are also being sterilized
