On the afternoon of Tuesday, August 5, 120 high school students from eight countries participating in the Third Session of the High School Student Special Course visited the Kao Museum in Sumida-Ku, Tokyo.
This unique museum contains exhibitions of Kao’s diverse creative corporate activities that have contributed to the “culture of cleanliness” since its foundation. In the corners where everyday cleanliness activities from different eras, including bathing, doing laundry, cleaning, and applying makeup were presented, students enjoyed themselves by using the interactive dioramas and touch panels.
In various demonstration corners where skin-moisture?retention levels, hair thickness, etc. could be measured, students tried measuring themselves.
In addition to the museum, the high school students visited the Kao cosmetics factory and watched with deep interest as cosmetic products were being packed.
